When we got the box, it stated that it used a 9-volt battery. When we opened the back of the scale, there was no battery info at all (none on the documentation with it either). Measured the hole size for the batteries and bought two 2025 batteries. Like the scale, but the batteries are expensive and they are not disclosed.
