I first weighed myself on a medical scale then on the HemingWeigh scale. The HemingWeigh scale said that I was 2 pounds heavier than the reading from the medical scale. So I stepped off the HemingWeigh scale, waited a minute, and got back on. All of a sudden I was 4 pounds lighter than the previous reading. Next I asked my son to try the scale. The first time, the scale showed him to be lighter than he thought he really was. So he got back on, and the scale then showed him to be 8 pounds heavier. I tried this with another one of my sons with similar inconsistent results. What I really wanted the scale for was percent body fat measurements. I first had to establish a profile (i.e. age, gender, height, etc.). This was fairly easy to do. After I did that though, I was unable to get the scale to show percent body fat or hydration at all. After I set up my profile on the scale I can't get it to get back there. Also more than one person can save there info on there, but anybody can check any other profile on there as well, which if you don't want anyone else to know what you weigh, it sucks! Overall though it is a nice scale. |
